Le Camp d’Approche – New Climbing Gym in Brussels

Le Camp d’Approche is an ambitious new climbing gym project in Brussels, designed to welcome climbers of all skill levels in a modern, multifunctional environment. In addition to the climbing facility, the site includes a future restaurant with a fully equipped kitchen, as well as sanitary facilities designed to accommodate a wide range of visitors.

CTSM was commissioned to deliver the complete building services installation for this new development. The scope of work included the complete installation of the stormwater drainage system, as well as the heating, ventilation, and potable water distribution systems for the entire site, including the climbing gym, restaurant, and kitchen. The project also involved the construction of fully functional sanitary facilities that comply with current standards.

The complexity of the project lay in coordinating multiple technical disciplines—including drainage, heating, ventilation, plumbing, and sanitary installations—while working alongside other trades on a tightly coordinated construction schedule. Several planned expansion phases, including the addition of an adult climbing area and competition facilities, also required the infrastructure to be designed with future extensions in mind, allowing the building to evolve as construction progressed.
